Making A Difference

Even though the weather was cold and rainy this past Saturday, October 13, our dedicated food donors and neighborhood coordinators supplied 3574 pounds of food and personal care items to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Groton fourth graders (and one kindergartener) volunteered their time (and muscle) to unpack the green bags and begin processing the donations.

Many of our neighbors choose between heating their homes, buying medications or feeding themselves and their families. The Groton Neighborhood Food Project is a great way to help those struggling by providing a reliable source of most needed items to Loaves & Fishes for distribution. Your contribution means so much!
